The earth-shattering rumble of live analogue synthesizers
The impossible rhythms of a 20-armed drumming machine
This is live Drum and Bass that needs to be experienced to be believed…
What is MachineMind?

Live Robotic Drums
A dizzying array of self-built, self-playing robotic percussion instruments. Multiple degrees of dynamic expression mean these instruments can play wicked grooves, with impossible complexity, speed, and endurance

Live DSP
By micing up all the drums and processing all the sound live, MachineMind is able to do all sorts of creative manipulation to the sound of the acoustic drums. It’s like creating new breakbeats on the fly for every performance

Live Analogue Synths
By combining studio-made sounds and samples with live analogue modular synthesizers, expect earth-trembling, organic-sounding subs, and screaming basslines

Frequently Asked
Questions
Are you using drum triggers and samples?
Strictly no. All of the drum sounds are created live, in real-time during the performance, derived from the mic’d up acoustic drums.
Are all the synth sounds made on the modular live?
Certain synth sounds are performed live on the modular, and others that are impossible to create live have been created with custom-built synths in the studio and are manipulated live.
